Hi everyone, still a bit under the weather here… But we have finished editing all the chapters, now begins the process of QC and doing final prep work, and then our final release of YDA will be out. Thank you for being patient!

Well, that was quick! Durendal popped in the forums today to release a new chapter of Yaiba, so we’re sending it out today! Grab it on torrents, or stop by the IRC channel. Also check the Yaiba page for DD links to Rapidshare and Sendspace.

Well, we got the site up and running, as you can see.. We’re still working out some little issues here and there, but the site is ready to go for the most part. 99% of you only care about the leeching of files, and for that, everything is ready to go.
I decided to leave direct downloads up for now.. I’ll be monitoring the site traffic and bandwidth over the next couple of weeks, and then make a more finalized decision on keeping the downloads or hosting them off-site on something like Megaupload or Mediafire.
If you run into any weird errors, or if something doesn’t look right, please drop me a e-mail or leave a comment here.
We’ll probably have a double Gekkoh release later this week since we missed last week Yay for fans of that…. And ummm, YDA is still being worked on, we’re slow.. it’s also very hot, and I’ve been under the weather a bit too :\ So, we’ll get to it ASAP.
Hey gang, just to let you know… We’ll be tinkering with the EMS site some over the next few days. The reason being we’re trying to help on the load of the site, and the massive amount of resources it takes to run the site.
For starters, we’ll be moving away from Drupal, the current CMS software that the site runs on. We’ll probably be migrating over to Wordpress or something similar. Every effort will be made to keep posts, comments, users, etc in place, but please realize that some stuff may be lost.
We’ll also probably look into some off-site hosting of older files. I hate to do that, but that’s a big reason for having to do this now. We’ll try to spread the links over multiple sites, so there will always be a site hosting our work. Also, we’ll probably look into some minimal advertising to help out with some of the expenses of the site. I don’t like it either, but what can you do?
As far as content releases go, Gekkoh is still on tap for weekly releases, YDA v17 has been translated and about 1/3 edited, and anything else is pending on Durendal’s availability and the recruitment of new staff.

As for English YDA, we’re still working on it We’re about 2/3 of the way through translations. Eye has already begun editing as well.
